two more miles to go, see the island ahead? it is it...Watch the lightgreen color of the water, coralbanks out here, crystal clear water... On the right side/background you can see Biliran/LEYTE (about 28 kilometers from this position ) on the middle/left/ background side, you see Maripipi/BILIRAN.

Landing Malapascua.

Normally the Bankas are landing in front of Cocobana Beach resort. We took a special ride and landed directly on Mike&Diose´s Beach Cottage.

Malapascua “Harbour”

It´s a great problem to get on those pumpboats, using a small plank just about 15 inches wide. It is very difficult and dangerous too, to climb and walk through those sharp edged Limestone rocks that leads you to the boats. One has to be very careful and there is not much help from the boatcrews.

Better you take a
“Ceres Liner”, faster and better on schedule than Cebu Auto Bus.

Fare ist about 60 PHP

Even more better to take “Ceres Tours”. This one got Aircon and wide comfortable seats, so its no pain to seat for 4 or more hours on the bus ride! And he is faster then all others.

Fare is about 90-100 PHP .
